Cymdeithas yr Iaith has re-elected Owain Meirion as its national chair.
At its annual meeting in Aberystwyth, the organisation reaffirmed its intention to press the Welsh Government to deliver commitments on housing, Welsh-medium education and broadcasting.
The movement highlighted proposals for a community right to buy, stronger housing protections and a shadow broadcasting and communications authority.
It regards the proposed broadcasting body as a step towards the devolution of broadcasting responsibilities.
The organisation also intends to campaign for stronger Welsh-language rights.
Why it matters: Broadcasting remains largely reserved to Westminster, while education and substantial areas of housing policy are devolved.
The campaign raises questions about the powers and funding required to strengthen Welsh-language media and protect Welsh-speaking communities.
