Cambrian Line running reduced Sunday service

Transport for Wales is operating a reduced service between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth today, with trains scheduled approximately every two hours rather than the normal timetable.

The operator warns that further cancellations are possible, with disruption expected until 11:59pm on Sunday 25 October.

National Rail continues to list Storm Boelo as a cause of disruption across several operators, advising passengers to check their entire journey before travelling.

Why it matters: The Cambrian Line provides essential connections for communities across mid Wales. Repeated weather-related disruption highlights the vulnerability of rural rail infrastructure.
